eBenefits announced that its subsidiary, L.A. Marketing Plans, LLC, recently launched a new Call Center in the Dominican Republic, which will market and sell the RightHealth programs to consumers throughout the United States. The new call center will also reach out to the Hispanic market by using its developed marketing strategies and advertising campaign.

In 1998, Nearly one-third of all Hispanics and one-fifth of all African-Americans in the United States had no health insurance, compared with 12.2% of Caucasians. The total number of Americans without health insurance was 42.3 million, or 15.8% of the population

According to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, almost one-third of all U.S. Hispanics have no health insurance, and neither do 15% of Americans as of 2004. The approved commercials are targeted specifically to the Hispanic marketplace, which has been estimated to 40 million viewers.

Shares of eBenefits Direct (EBFD.PK) rose 12.82% on Friday on no news. Currently the share price is donw to .22 a share from $1.50 a share in July, but in the last month has been holding the current range for the last month, which is a sign of a possible reversal coming.
