To give you an idea of the creative potential of cloud computing, there is now a cloud-based app that allows a person to contact a designated-driver-service, wherever they are, so that they can get themselves and their car home safely (albeit for a fee).

GlobalWise Investments, Inc. (GWIV) Secures New Channel Sales Partnership; Raises Profile within Healthcare Markets

GlobalWise Investments and its wholly owned subsidiary Intellinetics, a leading-edge technology company focused on the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based Enterprise Content Management (“ECM”) systems in both the public and private sectors, announced this morning that a new Channel Sales Partnership has been signed; this time with the eVero Corporation.

The eVero Corporation (www.evero.com) has been an information technology (IT) solutions provider to the Health and Human Services marketplace for more than a decade, primarily serving government agencies, health care institutions, medical billing companies, and large health service organizations that focus on developmentally disabled patients. eVero enables their clients to obtain the same level of technology solutions that Fortune 500 companies receive, but at a fraction of the cost.

According to today’s release, the eVero relationship is part of GlobalWise’s expansion strategy within the developmentally disabled (DD) health care provider market, which started with the previously announced Primary Solutions channel partnership. With this relationship, GlobalWise intends to replicate the success within the Ohio DD market into northeastern markets in which eVero serves, including New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Under the partnership, eVero will resell the Intellinetics flagship product, Intellivue™, as either a stand-alone system or as part of the company’s current data management systems.

“We are very pleased to add Intellivue™ to our numerous data management solutions,” stated Christos G. Morris, CEO of eVero. “Intellivue™ is a natural extension of the data collection and management tools that eVero now offers to its clients. Intellivue™ takes information from scanned/archived paper or digital sources and renders it searchable and instantly accessible from virtually any Internet-capable device, including smartphones and tablets. The result is smarter documents creating smarter business. Intellinetics is a great partner with fantastic software and support which I see as a winning combination with eVero and our go-to-market strategy.”

“We are excited to add the eVero Corporation to our Channel Partner program,” exclaimed William J. “BJ” Santiago, CEO of GlobalWise. “Evero has a proven, solid track record for providing low-cost IT solutions to the developmentally disabled health care providers in the northeast. The document-intensive nature of these service providers creates a myriad of opportunities for application of the Intellivue™ system. We are excited that eVero, a recognized subject matter expert in this industry, has chosen the Intellivue™ system as their overall document management solution.”

I like the commitment that GWIV and partners have made to there clients with the ERC platform. "By using this delivery method our clients have eliminated the need to purchase, maintain and upgrade computer hardware to run the EHR Software that they invested in. We provide the equipment, the backend data infrastructure, as well as all maintenance and support by a team of certified IT professionals."

Well done for GWIV who has entered a relationship with eVero, which now opens the door even wider for GWIV to startegically enter the developmentally disabled (DD) health care provider market. Looking forward to seeing how this all plays out for GWIV as they look for more ways to move forward successfully

GlobalWise Investments, Inc. (GWIV) Releases Shareholder Update on Recent Accomplishments and Reports on Expansion to Latin America

GlobalWise Investments and its wholly owned subsidiary Intellinetics, a leading-edge technology company focused on the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based Enterprise Content Management (“ECM”) systems in both the public and private sectors, yesterday after the closing bell released an update to shareholders as well announced promising global expansion into Latin America.

GlobalWise is a cutting-edge technology company determined to capitalize on the rapidly growing Enterprise Content Management (ECM) industry, predicted by Gartner to expand beyond $5.7 billion by 2014 with a compound annual growth rate of 10.1%. Intellinetics is incredibly well positioned to be a leader in the underserved small-to-mid sized business marketplace with its cloud-based Intellivue™ ECM product line and distinctive Channel/OEM distribution model.

Intellinetics’ flagship platform, Interllivue™, offers massive cost reductions to any size organization in nearly every industry by providing instant access to all of their corporate information securely at their desktop, or even their mobile devices, using the Internet. Through the utilization of this flexibility and freedom, Intellivue™ has experienced great success in the target markets listed below by building “on-demand” process solution templates that are pre-configured with 90% “best-practice” for immediate economic and improved operational impact by enabling “quicker-time-to-value” and increased client adoption.

• Accounts Payable
• Automotive Dealership
• Education K-12
• Financial Services
• Healthcare
• Higher Education
• Human Resources
• Law Enforcement Corrections
• Legal
• Manufacturing Distribution
• Public Sector
• Retail
• Special Education

The implementation of these solution templates has allowed the Intellinetics platform to define a new industry standard and innovative approach through the combination of advanced virtualization and automated content management with an open and service oriented architecture using Web services. Intellinetics offers strategies, technologies, and tactics for paper and digital asset management, from capture to long-term archive. All of these services are provided without the need for manual processes conducted by a full-time employee. In short, the company offers process efficiencies on their Intellivue™ ECM platform versus selling features and functions of ECM technologies.

The potential expansion of cloud computing is evidenced by IBM Market Insights’ prediction that the adoption of cloud computing will grow by 26% CAGR between 2010 and 2013.

About Intellinetics’ Channel Partners

The addition of each successful channel partner increases revenue for Intellinetics without a significant addition to the company’s fixed expenses. Revenue from each successful partner will vary between $50,000 and $900,000 annually, but the average channel partner is expected to increase annual revenue by $150,000 to $200,000.

GlobalWise added 14 strategic channel partner agreements throughout 2011 and believes the growth of its reseller program will accelerate significantly in 2012. The implementation of a channel sales model with strategic partners currently selling software into their own proven and trusted client base allows the company to quickly access a considerably larger and reliable client base. The company anticipates that the success of the channel partner system will drive triple-digit growth for the next several years.

The company signed its first global expansion partner, SOIN Integrales, headquartered in Costa Rica, on April 25, 2012, making Intellinetics their only exclusive ECM offering to Latin America. SOIN is a 20+year integrator that focuses on reselling SAP, Oracle, and Sybase ERP systems in the public and private sectors. The initial Intellivue™ solution and product launch will start in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, and Nicaragua.

In addition to the first step in GlobalWise’s global expansion, the company has also signed multiple agreements over the past several months, including:

The eVero Corporation (www.evero.com) has been an information technology (IT) solutions provider exclusively to the Health and Human Services marketplace for over a decade. In addition to Intellinetics, eVero partners are global companies that support the execution of eVero’s Information Technology as a Service. They are considered “Best Of Breed” in their various industries.

Why ignore the rest of the world? Extending internationally is one of the best ways to grow if you're product is appropriate, but you usually need a good distribution/marketing partner that knows the ropes in the countries you're talking about.
