New technologies always require a period of social adjustment.

The general consumer in many cases does not get a vote in matters that concern them. If the side groups want to raise concerns them the general public should agree with what they have to say.

That's a good point for they all encourage the spending of money, which inturns encourages hiring.

A recent study suggests that 90% of consumers worry about online privacy, which could conceivably translate into a concern about data collection for personal advertising.

What is ironic to me is that many people are worried about privacy yet they openly post private things on Facebook and twitter. That makes no sense to me.

Many refuse to believe that they are still being watched and monitored on these social media sites, after all how else are sites like facebook able to reccomend friends and products to you?
