It shows the ugly side of business deals at times, but the fact is that now NASV has brought in some revenue that they can make work for them.

People will have to do the research on the company and make a decision for themselves.

It's not a scam, simply the economic situation. If you want to sell income for cash, you face a discount. But there's no reason to believe that National would even consider such a move.

Thought they were taking this step when I read in their press release that, "Under the terms of the Letter of Intent with Versant, the company will be able to fund its working capital requirements through the sale of its outstanding accounts receivable invoices to Versant."

Coming in at such a low price, and considering the way NASV is putting this in order, shareholder should keep this stock in mind.

You are absolutely right, mwest. I forgot that the funding from Versant is indeed from a direct sale of their accounts receivable which is just like selling a secured note minus the security. They don't say what NAS has to pony up for this (i.e. discount). Versant assumes all the risks of collection, and, in this case, might even accept stock worth more than the total in order to cover any discount. For a company like Versant, it's critical that there be no lender liens against NAS in order to accept their accounts receivable, which explains why NAS was cleaning up their past obligations.

It also shows by Versant's interest and acception of these notes that NASV has things in order.

It will be a partnership that will benefit them both. And its clear that they are both willing and ready to take the appropriate steps to follow through with their end of the bargain.

National Automation Services, Inc. (NASV) Provides Update on Operations

National Automation Services, Inc. today updated investors on current activity and new contracts.

Over the first quarter period of this year, the company has completed settlement negotiations with Trafalgar Capital; filed its reviewed financials of the 3rd quarter ending September 30, 2010; and filed its full audited financials for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2010, bringing the company current on all its filings. National Automation Services also recently announced the signing of a Letter of Intent with Versant Funding LLC.

The company has received contracts for upgrading a Plating Line for a large battery manufacturer located in Arizona by implementing a PC-based control system to improve the performance of the manufacturer process, control of batch recipes, and collection of manufacturing data which enable technological advances which are being implemented using laser guided crane controls to move the manufactured parts through the plating process, as well as a contract with major mining operations in Arizona and Mexico in automating the mines output of silver and copper.

Dayv Marlow, VP Sales and Marketing, stated, “With a world-wide economic focus on Green and Renewable Energies the need for new battery technologies and battery manufacturing processes will be an emerging market for automation technologies and services. We are looking forward to focusing on other market segments, including projects in Brazil, with focus on Renewable Energies.”

Not clear how much the plating process contract in Arizona, together with the mining automation contracts in Arizona and Mexico, are set to bring to the bottom line. But they are apparently turning part of their energies toward the developing environmental markets. China continues to invest more in green technologies than anyone in the world. Be nice if they could get a stake in that.

Green energy is a huge market, especially over seas. This might be the best thing to invest in.

Wonder if they are going to release the name of the large battery manufacturer from Arizona that landed them that very nice contract?

Thinking they want to fulfill the contract first, then release the name in hopes of using the company for a reference maybe.
