Another possible use for DataCall feeds to digital signs is in the case of emergencies.
For example, instead of the public having to depend upon just a few dedicated signs, such as traffic signs, warning them of a problem, you could immediately link into a whole bunch of existing signs to display the important message. This would work for indoor signs as well, such as in a university or stadium or airport or company.

DataCall feeds could become far more elaborate than just a string of data across the bottom of a sign. They could develop into fairly advanced productions, using specially choreographed techniques to catch the viewer's eyes.

In fact, there are companies now that even provide mock content, to allow digital sign producers to show off their digital signs at trade shows, etc.

I don't know if DataCall would ever get into that, but it just shows the varied markets.
