Almost Family is a leading provider of home health nursing, rehabilitation and personal care services. The ultimate goal of the company is to promote independence by allowing seniors to age in place for as long as possible.

By providing specialty programs such as: Cardiocare, Orthopedics, Optimum Balance, B.R.E.A.T.H.E, Urology, Frail Elderly Care Management, and Telehealth Monitoring, seniors are able to achieve the independence they seek, thus leading to improved overall health.

The operation of Almost Family, Inc. is divided into two segments which are: Visiting Nurse segment, or VN, and its Personal Cares segment, or PC. The Visiting Nurse segment provides skilled nursing and physical occupational and speech therapy services, while its Personal Care segment provides custodial and personal care services.

Almost Family, Inc. provides Senior Advocacy Care team members who, through a nurse care manager, works closely with the patients’ own physician in order to achieve the goals of treatment. Other members of the team include physical, occupational and speech therapists to increase the patient's strength, mobility, safety and communication; medical social workers to identify resources and offer counseling and support; and dieticians, just to name a few.
