SkyPostal Networks, Inc. is an international mail distribution company focused on delivering commercial mail and periodicals into the Latin America-Caribbean (LAC) region. The Company is one of the leading private mail networks in Latin America and handles mail from European postal administrations, major publishers, international mailers and financial institutions that demand on-time, reliable delivery of their mail and/or magazines. Through its web-based proprietary tracking system, SkyPostal offers clients with the option of tracking their mail as well as the Company’s performance.

The Company fulfils the demand for reliable, low cost, trackable mail service in the LAC region. The Public Postal services in the area are plagued with abnormally high inter-country mail tariffs, inefficiencies with little to no technology, poor service and horrible delivery rates. In fact, about 30% of the mail sent to the LAC region from Europe and the USA is never delivered. These failures provide SkyPostal with an extraordinary opportunity to capitalize on demand for quality service.

SkyPostal is one of the largest facilitators of mail delivery from Europe and the US into the LAC region. At this time the Company’s main customers are the French and German National Posts. SkyPostal not only handles the mail originating in the two countries, but also their Extraterritorial Offices of Exchange (ETOEs). In addition, it serves other European Posts’ cross border companies such as Swiss Post Spain, acting as a median in the delivery of 150 tons of mail per month.

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) Switches Gears with Acquisition of SkyPostal

Omega United Inc. (OTCBB: OMGA) today announced the acquisition of SkyPostal Inc. in an effort to change direction in corporate strategy. Omega will discontinue its previous business operations and file to change its name to SkyPostal Networks Inc.

SkyPostal is one of the largest operations for mail delivery from Europe and the United States into Latin America, the Caribbean and Mexico (LAC). SkyPostal delivers more than 150 tons of mail per month into the region for major European postal administrations and leading mail consolidators.

“Going public through this merger is the next step in our evolution, as SkyPostal strives to become the dominant mail distribution company in Latin America, the Caribbean and Mexico,” Albert P. Hernandez, SkyPostal’s president and CEO stated in the press release. “We are now in a position to implement an aggressive growth strategy that features internal growth as well as growth through the acquisition of key postal delivery companies within the region.”

“The highly fragmented postal delivery industry in the LAC region is ripe for consolidation and offers economies of scale related to cost reduction and the elimination of redundant services. The market is ideal for the application of current technologies, standardization of operating systems and the region-wide development of the SkyPostal brand,” he continued.

SkyPostal has secured exclusive agreements with more than 20 major private postal services in 20 different countries throughout the LAC region, facilitating the delivery of commercial mail, periodicals and parcel post.

“SkyPostal is in a unique position through our existing relationships to acquire and roll up the quality private postal carriers in the region and apply our proprietary GPS-based delivery technology, PosTrac under development, which will provide auto proof of delivery for regular post to a region where it is estimated that up to 30 percent of all mail never gets delivered,” stated Hernandez.

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) - Changing the Way Businesses Ship to Latin America

SkyPostal Inc. is an international mail distribution company that specializes in offering hand delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America. Their mission is to provide customers with a consistent, secure and reliable mail delivery service of the highest standards through the use of innovative logistics solutions and state of the art information technology. In addition to mail, SkyPostal Inc. also delivers magazines or brochures and can handle almost all business shipping solutions.

SkyPostal offers its clients a reliable, low cost, trackable mail service to the Latin American - Caribbean region. Tracking services are provided by PosTrac, a web based proprietary tracking system that allows clients to not only track all of their mailings but the company’s performance. The savings that SkyPostal offers to customers are available because they are not regulated by the Universal Postal Union, a watchdog branch of the United Nations. This simple fact means the company saves traditional tariff and inefficiencies in the screening process that plagues other companies shipping to the region.

PosTrac technology also helps the company save money and increase both efficiency and consumer confidence. This state of the art technology uses bar coding, tracking, GPS and delivery confirmation to eliminate the 30% of packages that standard delivery companies cannot guarantee to ever arrive in Latin America. The GPS equipped PDA scanners not only give the client the confidence to track their packages exact location, but allow the carriers to follow turn by turn directions on how to get exactly where they need to be and obtain a confirmation signature.

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) Capitalizing in the Global Private Postal Service Battle

SkyPostal Inc. is an international mail distribution company that specializes in offering hand delivery of mail and periodicals into the Latin America - Caribbean region. Currently there are over 6,000 known private postal delivery companies in the Latin American region that generate annual revenues between $2-3 million. These firms are undercapitalized and lack both the manpower and technology of most major companies, these inefficiencies in the market are where SkyPostal hopes to come into the picture.

SkyPostal offers a reliable, low cost, and - most notably - trackable mail service to this market, which has never before seen a company of this nature. Instead of the current 70% delivery success rate which exists with the competition, SkyPostal offers the kind of reliability that can be tracked from doorstep to doorstep using real time GPS coordinates. With proven success, the company should be able to quickly impress many companies that need deliveries into the region, and potentially grasp its fair share of the $1.8 billion potential market.

The need for a reliable private mail service is undeniable, and continues to grow by the day. Banks, credit card companies, utilities, and (in some countries) even local governments require the services of such a carrier, and solidifying an international contract with any of these companies would be a huge victory for SkyPostal.

Albert Hernandez, CEO of SkyPostal spoke on the situation, saying: “The opportunity lying before SkyPostal is to become the dominant player in the private postal delivery business using GPS based ‘intelligent mail’ technology.” He then added that poor service faces not only Latin America, but China, the Middle East, India and Africa, all of which share the problem and represent potential new markets for the company.

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) is Reducing Costs While Improving Delivery Efficiency

SkyPostal Incorporated is an international mail distribution company that specializes in offering hand delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America. They provide these services for both businesses and private individuals, and all of their services are supported by a web-based tracking system that allows SkyPostal’s clients to track their mail and the company’s performance.

The average VIA postal company takes 14 days to deliver a package to Latin America, and even then only delivers with a 70-percent success rate. On the other hand, SkyPostal averages a 7-day transit time with nearly 100-percent success, and when unable to do so returns the mail to the sender free of charge. In addition, SkyPostal confirms a delivery-time reduction to Latin American countries of more than 66 percent.

In addition to speed and efficiency, SkyPostal can also save customers a significant amount of money when compared to several other major national postal services. Currently, a European sender has to pay about $0.41 per mail item delivered worldwide, while SkyPostal’s average is approximately $0.10-$0.11 per item. SkyPostal manages to pass these savings on to the sender by using a much more efficient delivery system, aided by GPS handsets, and the avoidance of costly tolls and tariffs that are required of other companies.

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) - A Proven Management Team Leading Through Experience

SkyPostal Incorporated is an international mail distribution company that specializes in offering hand delivery of mail and periodicals into the Latin America - Caribbean region. They offer a reliable, low cost, trackable mail service to this market, which is desperately in need of such services. The biggest success factor is SkyPostal’s ability to utilize real time GPS coordinates to track and deliver every package from start to finish, but there is another, often overlooked key to the company’s success; experienced management.

SkyPostal’s management team brings extensive experience in sales, operations and, most importantly, a deep understanding of the International postal industry. The team is led by Albert Hernandez, CEO. Hernandez was born in Cuba before emigrating to the United States, and has over 35 years of mail and message delivery service experience. Hernandez graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA in marketing, both from Iona College in Rochelle, NY. After leaving college, Mr. Hernandez held several executive level positions in the delivery and logistics industry for such notable companies as Airborne Express and Sky Courier International, until he founded SkyPostal in 2002.

A.J. Hernandez is the CFO of SkyPostal. He has been responsible for all international operations of the company since it was founded, and has been solely responsible for the successful negotiation of all the service provider contracts that SkyPostal currently has in the Latin American and Caribbean areas. Mr. Hernandez achieved his BBA in marketing from the University of North Florida and his MBA in International Business from Florida International University, after a short career playing professional baseball for the California Angels.

Why Gamble Sending Package to Lain America? SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) Provides a Safe and Affordable Alterative

SkyPostal Inc. is the largest private mail network in Latin America handling over 25 million pieces of mail per month. The company has been in operations since 2002 and has always promised “time defined” mail delivery solutions for people and businesses around the world. If given the choice between on time, safe and secure service, or an overpriced inconsistent mystery delivery, the decision is clear.

The SkyPostal difference is that Mail is hand delivered by exclusive representatives working with the “best in class” messenger services in each country. Clients can track their mailings via the Company’s website, using a unique program called PosTrac. SkyPostal can even provide signature proof of delivery, and just as importantly, the return of undeliverable items. This system uses the latest GPS technology allowing both the shipper and recipient to track their items and the couriers with the items every step of the way.

The alternatives to using SkyPostal, like the USPS, may be reliable, but once they get to the final country of destination, they turn over items to the local postal administrators. This is where issues are created, and items are typically lost or stolen, however SkyPostal uses its own reliable, trained, experienced and motivated people to deliver mail inside of the destination country. Because of this distinct advantage, SkyPostal averages 7.5 days transit time with nearly 100% success or else the mail is returned to sender free of charge.

The only reliable alternative to SkyPostal is to use an express delivery services such as DHL, FedEx or UPS. These companies can provide a similar service to SkyPostal, but it does not come cheap. The services are reliable and tracable, but can cost anywhere from $30 to $40 per item. SkyPostal provides an identical service for a fraction of the fee. Why gamble with your important deliveries when SkyPostal is a sure thing?

In the Newest Chapter for the Company, Omega United Files to Change Name to SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB)

The acquisition represents the next step to the development and success for SkyPostal. President and CEO of the company, Albert P. Hernandez said of the acquisition, “Going public through this merger is the next step in our evolution, as SkyPostal strives to become the dominant mail distribution company in Latin America, the Caribbean and Mexico.”

He continued to say, ““We are now in a position to implement an aggressive growth strategy that features internal growth as well as growth through the acquisition of key postal delivery companies within the region. The highly fragmented postal delivery industry in the LAC region is ripe for consolidation and offers economies of scale related to cost reduction and the elimination of redundant services. The market is ideal for the application of current technologies, standardization of operating systems and the region-wide development of the SkyPostal brand.”

Now that the company is publicly traded, it offers a great deal of capital to its already proven and successful business. The company is currently handling over 25 million pieces of mail per month and has very few comparable competitors. The services provided to customers are unparalleled by either private or government postal services, and averages an incredible 7.5 days transit time with nearly 100% success, or else the mail is returned to sender free of charge.

With the April 18th, 2008 completion of the acquisition, the new company, SkyPostal Networks Inc. is now trading as OMGA on the over the counter bulletin board. With their new open access to capital as well as their proven history of success, this company is now a force to be reckoned with in the postal delivery services industry. Investors will want to keep an eye on this company in both the immediate and long-term future.

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) Continues to Focus on Latin America

Earlier this month, Omega United Inc. acquired SkyPostal Inc. through a friendly reverse takeover deal. CNN Money reported the estimated value of the transaction to be around $27.6 million. With the acquisition, Omega has changed its business model and will build upon the foundation created by SkyPostal Inc. The company, now trading as OMGA on the over the counter bulletin board, has been renamed SkyPostal Networks Inc. The new name represents the company’s commitment to becoming a dominant international mail distribution company in Latin America, the Caribbean and Mexico (LAC).

SkyPostal already has a foothold in the LAC due to the acquisition of Spring Global Mail Latin America in August 2007. The acquisition resulted in creating the largest private mail service network in Latin America and the Caribbean. The company handles mail from Europe and the US into the LAC from European postal administrations, major publishers, financial institutions, and international mailers that require adherence to time-defined deliveries. Currently, SkyPostal has exclusive agreements with over 20 major private postal services for delivery throughout the LAC and handles over 25 million pieces of mail per month.

Albert P. Hernandez, President and CEO of SkyPostal, stated, “The highly fragmented postal delivery industry in the LAC region is ripe for consolidation and offers economies of scale related to cost reduction and the elimination of redundant services. The market is ideal for the application of current technologies, standardization of operating systems and the region-wide development of the SkyPostal brand.”

Not only does SkyPostal hand deliver mail, it also incorporates the use of technology with its service. The company has a propriety GPS-based tracking system, PosTrac™, which allows its customers to track their mailings via the Internet. The system provides customers with up-to-date status on their parcels or periodicals, including signature proof of delivery and the return of undeliverable items, which is a tremendous competitive advantage for SkyPostal.

According to Mr. Hernandez, “SkyPostal is in a unique position through our existing relationships to acquire and roll up the quality private postal carriers in the region and apply our proprietary GPS-based delivery technology, PosTrac™ under development, which will provide auto proof of delivery for regular post to a region where it is estimated that up to 30% of all mail never gets delivered.”

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) is Led by a Well Qualified Management Team

SkyPostal is an international mail delivery service, specializing in delivering mail and packages to Latin America. Its management has extensive and wide-ranging experience in the international delivery of mail and packages.

Chief Executive Officer

Albert P. Hernandez has almost four decades of delivery experience to Latin America, having established his first venture in Venezuela in the early ‘70s. Since then, Hernandez has been crucial in establishing the mail and package delivery business in Latin America for companies such as Fed Ex, Unipost in Europe, and Deutsche Post. Using this vast experience, he built Skynet Worldwide Express Network into a leader in time-sensitive mail, courier and distribution service.

Chief Operating Officer

AJ Hernandez started at the bottom of the business as a package sorter. In the early 90’s, as an employee of SkyNet Couriers, he developed a unique concept called “SkyBox”. AJ then developed a business around this concept and eventually spun it off as a separate company before it was sold to LanChile Airlines. It was obvious to AJ that Latin America needed reliable mail delivery, so he started SkyPostal. AJ made sure that SkyPostal was distinctive as he instilled it with the urgency mentality of a courier service.

Executive Vice President

Michael J. Knorr has held the post of Executive Vice President at Swiss Post International (USA), as well as senior positions at Express Messenger Systems (EMS) and TNT express Worldwide. Michael has worked for over 20 years at these companies in senior staff positions such as strategic planning, as well as operational positions, having developed and managed large-scale distribution and mail operations.

Vice President of Technology

Bert Herrera has over 10 years experience developing e-commerce and enterprise solution development and design. He has executed projects for diverse clients such as USPS Priority Mail projects and Fiera.com e-commerce solutions. Bert’s expertise is in managing and providing high-end technical solutions that have an international scope.

European Director

Chris Weber is responsible for sales and service to Europe. Based in London, Chris brings over 25 years experience in senior positions in the mail distribution industry, including Managing Director of SkyNet Worldwide Express UK, and President of Sky Courier Network.

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) Poised for Growth in 2008

SkyPostal, an international mail distribution company that specializes in offering the hand delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America (LAC), currently has service agreements with the French, German and Swiss postal services to deliver mail in the LAC region. The company is also providing reliable, time-defined, international “intelligent” private postal services at lower costs than the United States Postal Service and the major European postal agencies, with higher customer satisfaction.

SkyPostal is one of the largest private mail networks in Latin America that handles mail from European postal administrators, major publishers, mail consolidators and financial institutions that require time-defined and reliable delivery of mail, magazines and mail order parcels. The company has exclusive agreements with over 20 major local “correos privados” in 20 countries in the LAC.

Utilizing PosTrac technology, SkyPostal facilitates the collection of a GPS address database and the networking of each of the local country operators into an integrated regional Intelligent Mail delivery network. With SkyPostal’s current contracts with private postal companies and an experienced management team, the company believes it will be able to acquire additional private postal delivery companies. The company plans to use a combination of cash and stock for these acquisitions, and plans to continue its growth initiatives in 2008.

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB); Necessity - The Mother of All Invention (Not to Mention Profits)

In the U.S, we take our mail system for granted. We pop a letter or some other correspondence in the “box” and we know that, with very few exceptions, that piece will be delivered in a matter of days. Naturally, we tend to think that the rest of the world operates this way, too. If you’ve not lived in a third world country, you wouldn’t have any idea what the mail service is like. But make no mistake about it, compared to the U.S. postal system, the bulk of the world’s mail delivery is a shambles. This is especially true in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Imagine for a moment you have a business interest in Latin America. You send a document from the U.S. to the Latin address, but it never arrives. Imagine also that your Latin American business is thriving, selling natural resources to the growing European Bloc area. So they send you order forms. Yet they don’t get delivered. Is that possible? It’s not only possible, it’s the norm. According to research based on mailing tests from Europe and the USA, approximately 30% of the mail destined to the LAC (Latin America & Caribbean) never gets delivered.

This is where SkyPostal (trading under the symbol OMGA) comes in. SkyPostal’s mission is to provide its customers with a consistent, secure and reliable mail delivery service of the highest standards into Latin America, the Caribbean and Mexico through the use of innovative logistics solutions and state of the art information technology. Considering that the industry in Latin America is completely fragmented, positive growth through careful acquisitions will provide positive cash flow, while the company becomes the dominant provider in the region. On any given day a single business address might receive mail that’s been delivered by five or six different companies. By consolidating those smaller players, SkyPostal takes on an economy of scale allowing larger profit margins, with no increase in costs.

It’s really quite rare, in this day and age, to find a company that is EBITA positive, has a tremendous management team, has already built a solid business, and is trading for around $1 a share; yet one of the keys to their success is simply getting the mail delivered. But that’s where SkyPostal really shines. Frankly, there has been no direct competition, because up until SkyPostal came on the scene, the only choices were with the very expensive, time-sensitive providers like UPS and DHL, or the smaller local carriers whose dependability was less than desired.

SkyPostal has proven that they can take the “final mile”, which is the actual physical address delivery of mail, and do it for less than half the price that the majors charge by focusing on “time defined” delivery, versus time specific delivery. As a region-wide, cross-border private postal service, SkyPostal solves a large market need for reliable, low cost, time defined, and trackable mail service in Latin America and the Caribbean. Because there is great need, and SkyPostal has the solution, it would be the wise for investors to take a closer look at SkyPostal for its growth and profit potential.

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) - Time-Defined vs. Time Sensitive; the Differences are Startling, and Profitable

Statistics show that nearly half of all the packages that are sent via FedEx, DHL, etc., are not time sensitive, but the customer and the shipper still want tracking and proof of delivery. In Latin America and the Caribbean arena, this is even more of a concern considering that - in some of those areas - up to 40% of all the mail sent never reaches its destination. This is exactly what makes SkyPostal’s new GPS based mail delivery technology so exciting. For the first time “all” mail items can be tracked from drop scan to delivery. Yet with this new technology, there’s no signature required, making this quite revolutionary.

SkyPostal, Inc., based in Miami, Florida, is an international mail distribution company that specializes in offering hand delivery of commercial mail and periodicals into the Latin America-Caribbean region. Up until now, the delivery of mail in Latin America - Caribbean region was a hit or miss situation at best, and SkyPostal saw a unique opportunity to capitalize on this situation by offering a quality service at a tremendous price. So, how can they beat the majors in the pricing arena, while still offering an Internet-visible tracking service? Simple, they’re working on a time-defined premise, versus a time sensitive guarantee.

The major carriers such as UPS, DHL, and FedEx also serve Latin America and the Caribbean. But to get delivery confirmation, it’s customary to require the use of their premium services, which offer the time sensitive guarantee. Usually this comes in the form of overnight delivery, but these services are quite expensive and not at all acceptable for mailing such items as periodicals and statements. In fact, 50% of all the packages that are sent through the majors are not time sensitive, and yet the customer is paying for it because there was no other choice.

SkyPostal is changing all that, and in a very unique way. By using time-defined parameters of delivery, which means the mail will be delivered in a particular time frame instead of a specific date, they are able to offer the customer tremendous savings. If your mail isn’t time sensitive, why would you want to pay for time sensitive delivery? You wouldn’t, and SkyPostal agrees. But that’s just half of the story. The other half concerns some incredibly unique technology.

SkyPostal has developed a proprietary, state of the art, web-based system that they call PosTrac. The system provides scanning, bar coding, tracking and delivery confirmation of all mail items. It permits the customer to use the Internet and be able to track his mail until arrival at the destination country as it goes out for delivery. From there it gets even better. They have developed a handheld GPS equipped PDA scanner that solves the “last mile” tracking to the physical address by providing automatic confirmation of delivery using GPS coordinates without having to knock on the door to obtain a signature. Think about that one again, because it’s stunning. By recording the GPS coordinates of the mail receiving address, the mail deliverer has verifiable proof that he’s actually been to where he says he’s been, and the customer can feel satisfied that indeed his mail has gone to its final destination, despite no one being there to sign for it.

Most mail clients want assurance (confirmation) of delivery versus overnight-type speed, and even fewer need signature proof of delivery, which is very expensive. SkyPostal offers a time-defined, Internet trackable, mail distribution service at a fraction of what the express courier integrators charge for “overnight delivery”, which is often just simply not required. SkyPostal offers price, features and quality of service that the region so desperately craves. The demand is there, the sector is growing and SkyPostal addresses and solves the issues. Does it get any better than that?

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) - When your Management Team Looks like an All Star Roster

One of the standard operating maneuvers that a company might use to try and build credibility is to load their management team or board of directors with high profile members who have long credential sheets. The reasoning is sound, because if they appear to be led by a person with 25 years experience in business, it certainly sounds better than a “kid out of school”. This is often enough to get the average investor attracted to the company, because investors have been told over and over to do their due diligence on the management team, and make sure they’re up to their task.

But there’s a catch. What if the 25 years of experience are in a completely different business than the present company runs? Does all that experience still count?

In the case of SkyPostal however, this is a moot point. SkyPostal Inc., which trades under the symbol OMGA, is set to be the dominant provider of mail delivery services into Latin America and the Caribbean. They provide their customers with a consistent, secure and reliable mail delivery service with the highest standards through the use of innovative logistics solutions and state of the art information technology. But along with their technology and their high standards, they also have an edge that any company would love to enjoy. Their management team isn’t just deep; it’s deep with a tremendous bonus. SkyPostal’s management team has an astounding 150 years worth of collective experience running businesses that were all involved with mail or package delivery. Does that really help? You bet.

If your COO has seen a distribution problem in the past and solved it, wouldn’t you want him on your team for your new company? If your technology officer has actually created software that integrated with UPS’s systems and made for the smoother flow of packages, wouldn’t you want him on your team? If your COO had actually created a successful delivery company, and eventually sold it for a large profit, wouldn’t you want him on your team? Yes you would. And SkyPostal’s got them. Just their CEO alone has over 35 years of direct experience in mail and package delivery, and he was a pioneer in developing the private courier and mail delivery business in Latin America, having opened his first operation in Venezuela in 1972.

From their director of European development and sales, who just happened to be the co-founder and President of Sky Courier International, Inc (Reston, Va.), to their VP of sales and marketing director, who was the Vice President of Operations with TNT Mailfast (a Dutch Post subsidiary) from 1985 to 2000, each and every one of the six top slots in management are filled with men who have worked in, or started companies in, the mail industry. This is an incredible advantage.

SkyPostal has an awful lot going for it, from their technology to their price points, to their growth strategy. But don’t let one of the most important facts slip by you. Their management team is truly as good as it gets when it comes to mail, package, and hand delivery. 150 years of combined experience in the very business you are creating is a powerful tool. This is one management team you can feel confident in, and that’s the whole point isn’t it?

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) Provides High Level of Service throughout Latin American and the Caribbean

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) is an international mail company that specializes in providing hand delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America and The Caribbean (LAC). SkyPostal is the largest private mail network in Latin America and handles over 25 million pieces of mail per month.

National postal services from Europe to LAC are historically unreliable. These national services take at least 17 days for items to be delivered. Also, 30 percent of all mail into some countries in the region does not make it to its destination. The transit time and loss rate utilizing this method is a key reason why consumers are looking towards other international mail options.

There are other options to the national postal service including express services, remailers, and the USPS. Express services, such as DHL, FedEX, and UPS, provide reliable, traceable service but are very costly per item. Remailers are less expensive, but the mail is intermingled into the national postal service once it enters the region. USPS is reliable but its international services (IPA/ISLA) are costly, and like remailers, the mail is placed into the national postal service once it enters the LAC.

Rather than build its own system, SkyPostal signs the “best in class” messenger services in each country to hand deliver mail and parcels, which offers significant advantages. The company provides senders and recipients the ability to track their mail via its website, and provides signature proof of delivery service.

Why would someone use any other service when SkyPostal provides a more economic and reliable option throughout Latin America and the Caribbean?

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) Announces Solid First Quarter Results

SkyPostal Networks Inc. (SKPN.OB) announced financial results from its Q1 2008 operations today. Based in Miami, SkyPostal specializes in the hand delivery of commercial mail and periodicals from Europe and the US into Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

Sales for the first quarter were reported at $2,440,801, which is a 40 percent increase over the same period in 2007, where sales were $1,747,765. The reported numbers indicate improved total operating margins from 17 percent in 2007 to 24 percent in 2008. EBITDA numbers also indicated an 11 percent increase.

President and CEO Albert Hernandez said, “We are very pleased to see our margins increasing together with the EBITDA and record revenue growth. The Company is committed to further expanding while keeping operational expenses as low as possible. We anticipate that margins will continue to increase as we further establish our presence in the LAC and improve our operational efficacy.”

Although the company saw increased tonnage and revenue, higher revenue per kilogram, lower delivery cost per kilogram and the resultant better margin between revenue and delivery cost per kilogram, net loss for Q1 2008 increased to $1,030,499 from $445,418 reported for Q1 2007. The net loss increase was in part due to non-recurring and non-cash expenses.

SkyPostal currently has exclusive agreements with over 20 major private postal services in 20 countries in the LAC. Over the last five quarters, the tonnage delivered has continually increased.

Hernandez stated, “Quite simply, we have achieved the best quarter over quarter results in the Company’s history based on revenues and profitability.” He continued, “Our investment in 2007 has provided a solid groundwork for a strong 2008.”

At this time, more than 130 tons of mail per month is being delivered into the LAC. The company projects continued growth through the remainder of 2008. The UPU estimates the region can potentially produce $1 billion for the company. A study in 2004 found that the LAC has a population of over 530 million, which results in an estimated 11 billion items of mail.

Hernandez concluded, “We are continuing to execute and improve upon our business model, and we believe that the Company will continue to aggressively grow its revenue and efficiencies in 2008. Our management team has done an extraordinary job positioning the Company to continue increasing its penetration in the industry. Simultaneously, they have created a powerful entrepreneurial spirit to enable the Company to generate strong revenue and net income growth while providing the best service possible.”
