Ecrypt Technologies, Inc. (ECRY) is “One to Watch”

Ecrypt Technologies is an emerging provider of military-strength data security solutions for enterprise, government, and military. The company empowers organizations with the freedom to communicate and collaborate without risk of liability, reputation damage, competitive threat, and other negative outcomes. Ecrypt is the trusted first choice for those looking to keep their communications confidential.

Today’s businesses struggle to guard against the increasing number of dangers as a result of complicated networks built with many different components that are often individually patched to address new threats, while neglecting to close security gaps in traditional solutions. On average, data breaches and subsequent fines and litigation cost a US business $534 million every year, the highest in the world according to the Ponemon Institute.

The flagship Ecrypt solution is an integrated email and encryption server that can be quickly deployed to fortify the security of corporate communication, including attachments and mobile devices, against data breaches while eliminating phishing threats, malware infections, and spam. By using Ecrypt's paradigm-shifting technology, companies alleviate the need for separate encryption servers with their associated bloated administration and multiple points of weakness.

Ecrypt is well positioned to benefit from increasingly demanding data confidentiality regulations such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). As a result of extensive market research and working directly with organizations in multi-billion dollar industries, the company fully understands the business community’s need to maintain confidentiality, prevent data breaches, comply with government regulations, and mitigate litigation risks.

Notice how often communication security patching occurs after the fact. eCrypt offers a preemptive approach to secure communications.

The fact that as they mentioned data breaches cause the U.S. $534 million every year, imagine that figure it is crazy and easy to see why that kind of bleeding must stop

And I suspect there are a lot of hidden costs that could easily double that figure.

Security is becoming the hot ticket, because everything is going mobile and wireless and there are just too many opportunities for hacking.

I think a major advantage of their technology is that it is quickly deployable, very attractive to any type of organization that has just been hit with a security breach and is desperate for a solution.

eCrypt Technologies, Inc. (ECRY) – Success in the Making

In April 2007, eCrypt Technologies was officially incorporated in the State of Colorado. The data security solutions company was the brainchild of co-founders Brad Lever (CEO), Kasia Zukowaska (operations manager), and Gabe Rosu (CTO), who integrated their extensive expertise in technology, sales, entrepreneurial ventures, finance, software design and development, and telecommunications to craft an innovative business strategy.

Less than 20 months after its incorporation, ECRY went public, winning SEC approval in 11 quick days in November 2008. In May 2009, the data security solutions company was listed to the OTCBB.

Unlike many companies caught in the wake of the tumultuous financial crisis of 2008-2010, ECRY rode the storm and in February of 2011 named Congressman Curt Weldon as its chairman of the board. Weldon served 20 years in the U.S. Congress and retired as vice chairman of both the Armed Services Committee and the Homeland Security Committee.

In an aggressive and successful effort to get onto the radar of Wall Street investors, ECRY in May 2010 produced and aired the first “encryption software” commercial, which was featured on CNBC.

Fast-forward to-date and ECRY provides military-strength data security solutions for enterprise, government, and military. The company’s flagship eCrypt solution is an integrated e-mail and encryption server that can be quickly deployed to reinforce the security of corporate communication against data breaches while eliminating phishing threats, malware infections, and spam.

ECRY has positioned itself to benefit from data confidentiality regulations, and has conducted extensive market research to understand and meet the business community’s need to maintain confidentiality, prevent data breaches, protect its confidential information, and comply with government regulations.

Security of data can never be left unattended. There is no data that needs to be more secure than government and military data.

Speaking of government and military data there is always a moment in time when someone is being investigated just for trying to breach it and headlines are made

Since the globalization of data communication means that data security threats can now come from anywhere in the world, there's little hope that it will end. But for eCrypt this means a never-ending global market.

eCrypt Technologies, Inc. (ECRY) Addresses the Rapidly Growing Security Market with Superior Technology

The world is full of good guys and bad guys, full of people who make mistakes, and full of information that is meant for the eyes of only a few. It’s the business of eCrypt Technologies to deal with all of this, and do it in a cost-effective and user-friendly way that is acceptable to the marketplace. Their approach is in response to traditional information security systems which the company views as needlessly complicated, ineffective, costly, and even counterproductive.

eCrypt develops and sells encryption and security systems for a range of data communication environments, offering eCrypt One, a military strength email and encryption system that effectively safeguards the exchange, storage, and audit integrity of email and attachments. It’s designed to be both highly effective and easy to use.

eCrypt One is a fortified system that is essentially closed to data leaks, assuring the integrity of email and attachments, and it enables broad or granular security and access policies for comprehensive control. The self-contained system, with inherent security properties that mitigates human error or sabotage, consolidates administrative tasks into a single interface, while making it easy to integrate with familiar legacy services. It also has a Visitor Access Point that addresses the need to interact with external parties. Advanced functionality is intuitive, rendering complex training programs unnecessary, and the system is kept simple between multiple devices for a single user.

eCrypt One is holistically customizable, allowing the design to accurately reflect security requirements in the context of unique business needs and goals. It is also upgradable, without the need for a patchwork of complicated add-ons and fixes. In addition, it includes a comprehensive set of compliance tools with a dedicated compliance officer role to ensure that organizations stay ahead of the regulatory curve.
