Singlepoint, Inc. (SING) Technology Capitalizes on Rapidly Growing Mobile Culture

Singlepoint is a mobile application service provider and mobile marketing agency. The company provides solutions for clients to conduct business transactions, accept donations, or launch targeted communication campaigns via mobile device.

Roughly 61 percent of Americans own a smartphone, according to research from the Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project. This growing mobile culture represents a vast opportunity for communication not only between individuals, but from businesses to consumers as well.

When a company uses opt-in mobile messaging to interact with their customers, it creates invaluable personal interaction and a 97% guarantee that the message will be read. This communication keeps subscribers involved in what the company is doing and fosters brand interest loyalty.

This kind of marketing also boasts an attractive return on investment. There is a response rate of 20-70% with text marketing – it’s a broad range but is significantly higher than a response rate of 1.5% with print, TV, and radio.

The technology SING has developed leverages these key points, enabling its clients to create mobile marketing campaigns with SMS text services that directly connect to the client’s target market. Furthermore, the company can conduct ecommerce via mobile device through a secure payment portal.

The highest growth for any payment type from now until 2018 will be in mobile payments, according to a report by Javelin Strategy and Research. Javelin predicts that the industry push for mobile payments at the point of sale would increase from $398 million last year to $5.4 billion in 2018.

SING’s platform is fully integrated with wireless transactions and is available through any wireless carrier, on any device and from anywhere in the world.

While SING’s technology is applicable to any business or organization, the company has taken particular interest in faith-based and non-profit niche, which yield high-volume donations. Using mobile donations is an engaging and interactive way for donors and fundraising campaigns to execute a convenient and highly successful campaign.

I'm not even sure it's about smartphones anymore, but more generally about overall mobile technology, which could eventually take all sorts of forms.

Mobile payments currently account for a small percentage of payments. Research has indicated that there is tremendous opportunity for growth with respect to mobile transaction payments.

It's true that the portion of people who have made mobile payments via smartphone is perhaps about 20%, but this figure is growing rapidly as mobile devices begin to play a bigger and bigger role in all types of communication.

Singlepoint, Inc. (SING) Aims to Enhance Brand Awareness, Market Reach through Alliance with Linkstorm

Singlepoint, a mobile technology company and full-service mobile marketing agency, has formed a strategic partnership with advertising technology provider Linkstorm to launch aggressive brand presence and engagement initiatives for Singlepoint.

Per the agreement, Linkstorm will deploy its innovative approaches to online marketing, e-commerce, publishing and social networking to enhance Singlepoint’s market presence across a range of industries.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for our brand, giving us a potential customer reach like never before,” Singlepoing CEO Greg Lambrecht said via news release. “As well, their business model gives Singlepoint an introductory point to create further synergy with Linkstorm as the companies are in discussions toward implementing Singlepoint’s powerful SMS text message service, mobile credit card checkout and mobile donations platforms into dynamic add-on and cross-marketing solutions for Linkstorm’s customers and strategic partners in what I’d consider a big win for Singlepoint in terms of both brand exposure and additional potential revenue streams and, potentially, in industries we have yet to tap.”

David Sidman, founder and CEO of Linkstorm echoes Lambrecht’s sentiment and noted the wide-spread integration and potential of the alliance.

“Singlepoint’s technology is highly versatile and user-friendly, and Lambrecht’s team understands very deeply how Linkstorm can provide an accelerator to their overall goals in terms of market reach and creation of additional revenue streams,” said Sidman. “Singlepoint’s technology can be included in nearly all of Linkstorm’s products, from display advertising to social media to video advertising to content syndication – and especially to our new mobile offering.”

Both companies said they are confident the collaboration will lead to mutual, exponential success.

Linkstorm's stated philosophy is that ads perform better for the advertiser when they are more useful to the customer.
